*Claps! Today's charity event was a big success with an approximate attendance of 3,000 spectators turning up at the stadium. Around 4pm, my parents and I went to eat some Japanese food just outside the stadium, and we talked about the outcome of this charity event would be like. I expected lesser people to turn up as my impressions of Singaporeans are that bad. In the end, when we had finished our early dinner, a long queue was formed outside the stadium, leading me to a strange feeling. Although it felt bad queueing for so long, but, a strong sense of satisfaction aroused in me. I was very happy because at least I feel that many people are willing to help Charmaine. This actually made me realised that there are a lot of kind and helpful people around in Singapore. My parents donated $40. Although it's not a lot, but they did their part. The match between the Ex-nationals and the Celebrity team was super funny with Sheikh Haikel around. Anyone that knocks into him fell. Hahahha! And guess what? He scored a goal for the Celebrity team. Crowd was all cheering for him everytime he gets the ball and everyone stood up to applaud after he scored a goal. It did not bore any of us there in the stadium with a tremendous score of 9-5. Of course it's the ex- nationals team who won. To them, it doesn't even matter if they had won or lost, as long as they play a part in helping Charmaine. Every single dollar counts. So check out http://www.ourfeistyprincess.com/ to know more. You may also donate anytime. At the end of the match, Charmaine's mother, thanked everyone who participated in this event. She cried in the end. Bangawan Solo also donated money and sponsored food for free. Rafi Ali, a former singapore player, actually organized this event with his wife, after he went through the papers and knowing about Charmaine's condition. Enjoyed this meaningful day today. The match between Tampines Rovers and Geylang United ends at a score of 3-1. Victory to Tampines. Schooling tomorrow, so have to sleep early. Got to sleep. Byebye! |
